this was a postbus that was being preserved by royal mail heritage where it is now im not sure it was with martins SOP 405S at Bamber bridge workshop in feb 1992

just found out from david cott that this postbus is on display at the British postal museum archive at Debden, it was given a light restoration a few years ago but doesnt think it will run again,but at least its still with us
 
Great to know it's still standing and stored somewhere dry - so it has a chance of someone being able to revive it :)

mmmmmm, could do with a couple meself - have got the grinder out too, mmmmmm[}:)]

Think if I got there with grinder in hand it would be like being asked to saw the leg off a puppy though - think the softie within would win that one[:X]:)

wonder if museum has corrugated metal walls - might have a commer shaped hole ground in one of them by the morning [}:)][}:)][}:)]
