Worth winning just for the fixing brackets, they seem to be quite rare.

Hi, just take the mirror head to any half decent glass merchants and they can use it as a template to cut you a new mirror glass and they should stick some tape on the back to make it shatterproof, hope that helps. Nick
 
you can buy a sheet of mirror plastic from motor factors and cut it too size. I got mine form Unity Motor Factors in Woking
 
You can mount a vw bay window one on there they are slightly smaller than commer but same shape and ready available:D
