Windscreen wipers

Hi all. I’ve never had to mess about with wipers before. The wipers have been put back on lower than they use to be and it’s a bit annoying. So not having a clue..... do I mess about adjusting bits on the motor side or do I need to take each one off spindles and put back on? If so, how please. I thought I saw something in manual but can’t find it now. Thank you

What I do is park them straight down by switching the ignition off as they get to the position, this gives a bit more room under the peak. I then use an open ended spanner, that slips over the spindle but is smaller than the wiper arm, and gently prise the arm off the spindle. move it round a spline at a time and see how it parks before any more adjustment.

Ah brilliant thank you. I wasn’t sure if there was a cir clip or something to stop them falling off

think there’s a little catch on them isn’t there? Only changed mine 2 weeks ago and I can’t remember -
...however I’d trust Panky more than me

Thank you. I thought I’d read about some sort of catch in the manual. I will use the spanner trick gently in case there is a catch thing. Thanks

No catch on mine, but I did fit new chrome ones ages ago.

Just took a photo and can see on mine there’s a tiny catch you push to release but sounds like some do and some don’t
