What is this van?

Hi there!

Can anyone help me identify this beauty? It's a registered 1974, and unfortunately I have limited knowledge and pictures of it

I believe/remember/am told that the rear door is a single door (I could be wrong) and that the side windows are the 'slats' type, and the pop up roof is fabric.

Not sure if them facts are any use, but would love to know what camper type this is (The rectangle lights on the front seem to be impossible to track down)

Cheers!

Hi and welcome. My knowledge is relatively basic too but I reckon it’s a Pb model. It’s not an Autosleeper camper model. The rectangular side light unit looks out of place too

From the view through the van, it appears to have normal rear doors. If the roof is fabric (concertina), I would suggest that it could be a Holdsworth. However, it looks a bit like a CarCamper roof to me, but that would have solid sides with a window. The lights look like they could be from a later facelifted Spacewagon. The paint looks like it was applied with a 2 inch brush.

Ah, yes you are correct about the doors if I bothered to look at my own pictures xD

I'm almost certain about the windows being slats, and it could well be that the rectangle lights were added at a later date, though the bodywork seems to be flush with them

This is an old family relic that I have limited access to, but I do know that the owner was partial to self-maintenance, so the brush and a pot of paint doesn't surprise me

It was a two pair of specs job but I think I can just make out the thicker frame for louvre windows and maybe just a hint of the louvres themselves. My guess, like Chris's, is a Holdsworth but the front lights are a bit of a mystery, definitely an add on and blended in by the look of it.
Welcome to the Madhouse by the way :)

I have lightened the pictures so you can see a little more detail. On reflection, those are not Spacevan lights as they are too tall and straight on the inside edge. It also has a red pinstripe.

Pretty sure that's twin louvres on there. The lights could almost be the later rear clusters with amber and clear lenses fitted. The Dodge front ones have a curve on one side.
