What bulb types are used in Commers

Hi All,

I am off to France on Monday in the Commer and know that by law you need to carry a spare bulb kit.

I think that the indicator and side light bulbs are the standard Lucas 12V/5W jobbies but can anyone tell me what the Lucas headlamp bulbs are please? (I'm hoping to be able to find out without having to take the lamp apart!)

I think they are Lucas sealed beam units so you'll need to take the whole headlight! Not expensive though, any good old fashioned motorist shop should carry them in stock.

If not, do as I do in France and just carry any old halogen bulb in the van to show M. Gendarme if stopped. The box is ticked!
