Sold my Highwayman today. Martin is a really nice bloke and I hope he enjoys the old girl. She behaved very well and the last I heard he was happily plodding down the M74.

Hi bud, sorry to hear you have been a bit rough. I am still getting the green Commer but now as I have sold the Highwayman I am gonna have a good look over her and if its do-able I will restore her.

Will keep you posted:)


I have not heard from Martin for a while, I'm hoping he is safe and well and enjoying Commer ownership.:)

Heard from Martin this morning. He stopped off at oxford, 400 miles done so far! Engine running sweet but she is being a bit of a bitch re starting. He is gonna try tensioning the fan belt or get a new battery. Apparently had a very nice 8 hour kip and only got 100 miles to go. Nice one bud. Why did I sell her again?
