talking of mice, i remember going to do a job in some old ladies house about five years ago, i had to go up into the loft space, as i was going up there i asked her if there was a light switch in the attic, she said no but there was a box of matches just inside the loft hatch and a candle. well you all know what happens when you first enter a dark room for the first time, it took a moment for my eyes to adjust to the dark light, then out of the gloom a faint siluett of a box of matches emerged in front of me so i went to pick them up.(SNAP) THEY WENT AS I FELL OUT OF THE LOFT HOLE AND ENDED UP IN A BIG HEAP ON THE FLOOR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LADDER. I GOT TWO BROKEN FINGERS AND A MOUSE TRAP STUCK ON THE END OF MY HAND, BLOODY HELL DID IT HURT. I CAN SAFLY SAY I LEARNT MY LESSON THAT DAY, AND NOW I ALWAYS TAKE A TORCH WITH ME.[xx(]
Good to see you online Woolfy!, good to hear the panels are selling as well!.
hehe, i have a funny story where i should of had a torch at hand as well.
Me and a mate were riding on Honda C90 mopeds about a disused colliery some years ago.Well we came across a brick shed that was locked, but after investigative work we realised it was on stilts and you could crawl underneath and the floor was wooden.Well us both being nosey and always on the look out for anything worthy of 'reclamation' we crawled underneath and booted the wooden floor through and wriggled our way up into this building. It was dark, we could see a thing so we scrabbled about with our fingers for a while and found a jerry can of fuel, then we found a large metal box.We shook it and it made a strange noise and it had holes in the top!. So, we in the darkness managed to prise off the lid and we stuck our hands inside the box.Reaching in we didnt realise the box was full of rats, all hot and sweaty and most likely hungry!!, it was awful, ill never forget it!, rats everywhere..we swore lots and threw the tin down and made a run for it with the jerry can out of the hole, knowing the rats were all round us...[)]
Later we got hauled over by security, they were looking for someone who had broken into their shed and let his rats out and nicked the petrol for their truck...we got away though with a good fib! [}]
OH YEH I CAN SEE THE FUNNY SIDE OF IT NOW, BUT WHEN IT HAPPENED BOY DID IT HURT, I DIDNT REALISE THOSE MOUSE TRAPS HAD A SPRING THAT STRONG ON THEM. I WOULD HATE TO BE THE POOR MOUSE WHO LOVES CHEESE.
I LIKE IT FORDY. SOUNDS JUST LIKE SOME OF MY OLD DAYS, WE USE TO RIDE THE OLD HONDA C90S AROUND THE WOODS ASWELL. WE HAD OUR OWN GANG , CALL THE HONDA DOG GANG. WE USE TO CHOP OFF ALL THE MUD GUARDS AND FAIRINGS SO THEY WERE JUST A SEAT AND FRAME. WE WERE ALWAYS GETING LEGGED BY THE OLD BILL, THEY COULD NEVER CATCH US THOUGH.
haha yes slice of the rear mudguard, junk the fairing and slice the exhaust so it was loud!..Honda C90 always good for two bags of coal from the pit , used to fetch tons of the stuff [}]
i have had 6 c90,s never managed to kill any of them [8D]
in fact i still have one as a pending project, only this one is a 240cc drag beastie in disguise [}]
"you were only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off no.3"
I KNOW WE USE TO ROB THEM ALL THE TIME,(SORRY I MEANT BUY THEM ALL THE TIME) WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, IVE HAD C50S C70S AND C90S, AND 90%OF THE TIME THEY WERE ALWAYS EITHER LIGHT BLUE OR RED OR GREEN OR THAT ****TY RUSSIT BROWN COLOUR WERNT THEY. WE USE TO THRAP THEM THROUGH THE WOODS AT FULL PELT . WEVE GOT AN OLD BOMB CRATER IN THE WOODS FROM THE SECOND WORLD WAR WHICH IS MASSIVE, WE USE TO DO JUMPS DOWN IT, NEVER MANAGED TO KILL A SINGLE HONDA DOWN THERE. GOD THEY DONT MAKE THEM LIKE THEY USE TOO DO THEY.
got chased by the rozzers in a mk2 escort on one of mine and lost them

Haha we would ride through the village down the main road most days, one day the police chased us up this road and into a cul de sac with a jitty we would use to escape them!, got half way up the hill and the bugger ran out of fuel, spluttered to a halt with me and a mate on the back. The copper jumped out and sprinted to us,, he was known for being a bloody good runner and good at catching!.Well i turned the fuel switch to reserved and tried bumping the bloody thing as it didnt have the kick start, lol just has the copper grabbed my mate by the shoulder the thing roared into life and we shot off laughing at the lanky copper still trying to catch us!.Was so close to getting busted, we drove off and hid in someones garden! WE USE TO GET CHASED BY THE OLD BILL ALL THE TIME ON THEM AROUND OUR STREETS AT NIGHT , THERE MUST HAVE BEEN ABOUT TEN OF US IN THE GANG. ROUND OUR WAY WHERE I USE TO LIVE THERE ARE LOTS OF THIN ALLY WAYS THAT RUN BEHIND THE BACKS OF THE HOUSES. WE WOULD ALL GET LEGGED BY THE OLD BILL AND TRY TO OUT RUN THEM BY GOING DOWN THESE ALLY WAYS AS SHORT CUTS, IT WAS A GREAT LAUGH I CAN STILL REMEMBER IT NOW AS IF IT WERE YESTERDAY, THE BEST BIT WAS THAT THE ALLY WAYS HAVE SHARP TURNS AT THE BOTTOM OF THEM WHERE THEY CHANGE DIRECTION. I CAN STILL REMEMBER US ALL TRYING TO GET ROUND THE TIGHT CORNERS ALL JAMMED UP BEHIND ONE AND OTHER. IT WASA GREAT LAUGH IF YOU WERE AT THE FRONT OF THE QUE BECAUSE YOU COULD DELIBERATLY HOLD YOUR MATES UP BY PRETENDING YOU WERE STUCK, THEY WOULD **** THEMSELVES INCASE THE GOT THERE COLLARS FELT.HA HA. I WAS A GOOD MATE REALLY HONEST.
