watertank

Hope you're not ditching the tank. So many people seem to lose the tank. I would have thought they are useful in a camper[:0]

Cheers

they are a tad heavy when full - possibly unhygenic and are in the way! I still have mine (behind the shed)

I have lots of space now where the sink isn't too!

saying that, if I could get an original sink I would re-instate it tomorrow!

You're right 16 gallons of water is like carrying a fairly large passenger, I used to fill it up when I got to the camp site. I always carried Milton tablets (baby bottle sterilisers)and dropped a couple in when filling up. We only used the water from the tank for washing.

I removed my W/Tank because it was rotten, but i may well get a smaller one made up in stainless at a later date as it could be usefull when not stopping on sites.
The old tanks are very heavy on their own without 160 lbs of water in,i wouldn't think it would do much for the fuel consumption taking all that with you!!

back to my "rootes"

emptied all Rans cupboards at the w/e ready to sell!Tim remarked how amazing it was & what a difference it made:D
there was enough stuff including food to survive for at least a week :p

"RAN"the van FORSALE. "SYBHIL" & N0.1 Probably won't get restored unless I win the lottery.

Got a tank off Admin (never knew Farnham was the centre of the Commer universe!)

Planning on making a few mods to it then getting a stainless one made up.
