VIN NUMBER

Hey yall, just have a quick question, where would the vin(vehicle identification number) be on a 1963 commer van and how many digits is it. Any info would much be appreciated

I have the body#, the chassis# and it is a commer 3/4 ton series II

is it at the back of the bulkhead where you open the engine lid or under the drivers seat but am sure that is the chassis tag,get yourself an osylager all the info will be in there ;) always one on ebay so don,t break the bank ;)

The chassis number should be all you need. I don't think vin numbers were 'invented' when your van was built.

VIN and chassis numbers are the same thing ;) its about 18 digits long :)
