Hello everyone, I’ve been reading your old posts about vapour locks , rerouting fuel pipes ect. Has anyone tried heat shield sleeving ?, like this I’ve found on the web. Thanks neil

I've had to cover my electric cables and gear selector cable to stop them melting. The stuff you have suggested will work but I personally would use Goodridge heat sleeving.

It's good stuff, we have to use it on fuel lines in land speed racing.

So I’ve brought some e10 resistant petrol pipe and heat resistant sleeving for between the lift pump and carb I had slightly over size black sleeve and it looks fine doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb !!, reasonably priced on eBay with plenty of colours for the shiny owners.
