Just spotted this on ebay. UAZ 452s. Amazing Commer lookalike. Apparently they are still produced in Russia - and I thought Russians had poor taste in cars!

Check out 'The Long way Round' with Ewan McGreggor and his mate riding around the world on motor bikes. One of the episodes details their adventures while travelling the Road of Bones across Siberia. One of these vans is featured and shown being dragged through swollen rivers, water up to the windows, by an incredible six wheel drive Russian truck.
