finally got round to sorting out everything we got last weekend.not a lot there but enough to make it worthwile
met up with colin and cazz on saturday and had a great night out.met mr and mrs moley on sunday and spent sometime with hugh boultbee as well
only 1 commer there on the carpark,its from a museum on the isle of wight and is in the colours of don everall coachways of wolverhampton but its just brilliant

How can something so lovely be produced for something so every day as a bus. The equivalent today looks like a blacked out box - no sense of style or interest (apologies to the bus anoraks:I) The only conclusion I can come to is that the designers actually had artistic freedom back then and were not constrained by bureaucracy and restrictive legislation.
It's a great example of all that was right with the industry of a bygone age[^]
