Terrys Aero Valve Springs

I have set of twin springs listed for a Hillman Minx 1954-67 and have std 1725 (1970) engine set up.

Is there any benefit in fitting twin springs over the standard single springs in a low compression engine? Anyone had any experience with them?

As well as being fitted to high revving engines the secondary springs also acted as harmonic dampers. You might gain some benefit but hard to say if you would notice. The only car I've has with double springs was my old Mini Cooper and, although I did try on occasion, never had any valve bounce ;) I wonder also if the double springs, individually, have a lighter load rating than the single

Hi. The springs when set back-to-back in a vice and compressed the double springs start compressing at the same rate as the single but slow down as the compression increases. I was hoping someone would have fitted them and had some experience running with them.
