Temp gauge

Hi struggling to get figures for output from the temp sender. It’s read cool for a while so changed the thermostat for a 88 degrees one and replaced the sender as it was always going on and off due to the spade connector being snapped also disconnected the aux rad but still runs at a quarter on temp gauge which points me now to the wiring breaking down or the gauge itself. Looked through the manual online but can’t find the voltage figures for what should be coming down the wiring. Does anyone know these for different temp readings or another way to test the gauge function? Ta all

Jim

You need a pan of hot water and a thermometer, dunk the sender into it and compare readings between the sender and the gauge.
