Straightliners speed show Feb 25th and 26th.

Record breaking Cars. Bikes, trucks, boats (bluebird), the world's fastest shed, dragsters, jet cars (Inc the one that tried to kill Hammond) and some celebs as well as a certain blue Spacevan will be on display in heated marquees at Elvington Air field near York on the 25th and 26th Feb. £10 each per day with free camping on site for visitors and exhibitors.
It's right next door to the Yorkshire Air museum who are holding an evening gor photographing the planes on the 25th.

Well I'm here all set up. Unfortunately Bluebird isn't here due to legal reasons. It was a bloody cold night despite the fact I'm camping in the van in a marquee and had Angus the chihuahua in the sleeping bag with me!

I managed a few demonstration runs today against...
VW Golf GTI..
Mustang 5.0 V8...
Porsche GT3...
Porsche powered VW camper..

All were beaten!
A guy in a ferrari wanted to race but decided against it.. (didn't want the ribbing from the rest of the supercar club)

I did get very sideways against the camper but still beat him.
