Thanks for your support everyone Cortina now recovered and all in one piece broken into and hot wired and bump started we think, driven 2 miles and left????? why why why?

this is a common thing that the people who steal them do , they steal it and drive a few miles away then park the car up somewhere and watch over it for a while, they then come back at a later date to see if its still there and they take it again, i was told this by the police when the same thing happened to my mate last year, they do it to make sure that the car has not got a tracking device fitted to it.before taking it to there hide out etc.[:(!]
