Spring cleanings underway.

its not quite Spring yet but I've started to clean my van anyway. My first trip of the year is just over a week away, I've still got a few jobs to do. They include checking all of the fluid levels, cleaning the cab, a splash of paint here and there, tyre pressures and making sure the batteries ok. Talking of the battery can you get a gauge like the temperature one but for the charge in the battery?

There a various ones you can get. A voltmeter will tell you what charge is in the battery, an ammeter will show if it's charging properly. You can get digital meters that plug into the cig lighter so much easier than wiring one in.

I have a voltmeter that is attached into my middle part of the dash... The lower bit. But an add on.

I'm sure they are easy on fleebay. And just wired off the cigarette lighter loop initially although I recall that concerned my auto electrician...
