.........he has just returned from visiting his girlfriend in Devon and he was all excited, wanting to show me what he had seen just down the road from her Mother's house...... and guess what :D

Summer's Coming
 
No, it's a Volvo engine, hence the 122s badge on the rear. Johnathan did the conversion a few years ago and recently rebuilt the engine, so it must be a success :p
 
Not a big fan of conversions but that looks great:p and a Volvo motor, big leap in performance/reliability there[^].
Wonder if a Volvo B21A motor would fit OK, A pretty simple motor with SU HIF6 as standard and standard ignition but pulls like a loco and super reliable.
