On the A13 at Orsett,Essex. A 2tone green auto-sleeper quite an early one, around '63/64 reg: AAX 388 A with SLIDING DOORS (Tim):p;). I turned around and chased after it as i wanted to check it wasn't the stolen one and to have a proper look. The driver turned of at the Stifford interchange heading in the Grays direction but i had already made a 6 mile detour so had to head back home. Any one you know TransitVanMan[?][?]. Looked in quite reasonable condition. Haven't seen this one before,anyone recognise the reg/discription[?][?]:p:p:p

back to my "rootes"

last night drove passed localish police tugged young driver,...& today coming home into our village goodness knows how many police officer cracking down on ha re cour sers ? so the police seem to be out & about in force approx 6 cars [:0]

yeah, i spotted this one a few months ago on the M27 near M3

I too followed him into the services and had a chat. He had been camping in the New Forrest and lives in Essex...can't remember where though!

he had been in touch with Mr Maltas because he wanted some bits to repair the sliding doors and also someone had put a PB grill on it and he wanted to revert back to the chrome strips instead. I told him of our forum but he hasn't bothered as yet
