Spotted on the A1 today!

Anybody driving southbound on the A1 today at around 4.15pm near the Ram Jam Inn? Commer Highwayman i believe. Cab was kind of a rusty/brown colour but never got the reg plate as the central reservation was blocking my view.
Quiet a few events on this wkend but i'm guessing that maybe it was on it's way back from Belvoir steam fair perhaps???

Ooooh, we are not far from there....and have never had a single peep of any commer in this area!

Likewise Fontaine, we are in Little Bytham just off the A1 and i have never seen another locally either. That said, the A1 is a major road;-)

Not too far at all then Comm-Don, we are in Melton Mowbray. Have you been over to the car/bike meet at Ashby Folville? Second tuesday of the month i think it is. I always hear really positive things so we are going to try and make next months in fontaine. It'll be about 20-25 miles from you.

To be honest we haven't really ventured out too far as yet because we brought the van when the weather was on the change last year but we do plan to get out lots this year;-) will bare that one in mind being that it's fairly close to us.

Lancealot, the pic is mine - Just using it as my signature, although i think it's a little on the large side so will resize it methinks. Perhaps would have bumped into you more as we moved from Peterborough to here. I take it to Boro a fair bit though as my son lives with his mum in Hampton and loves to be picked/dropped off in the Commer ( Get em into it young;-) )
