Commertastic! Skye sailed through the MOT this week. A few weekends of snagging presented issues. She has had a little help from the dremmel, taking some of those bubbles back to real metal and treating. So progress to date is. Seal windscreen (Found this 80's can of stuff called COMMA), New windscreen wipers, Door weather strips, Fit new 2nd user quarterlights, and rebuild seals, Remove clean and make good heat exchange and metal thingy, New washer jets, Make gutters function more effectivly, remove bubbles above gutter + respray above gutter, remove door cards and lubricate winding and locking mechanisms.
Mostly work is around waterproofing her as to prevent future problems, It helped being trapped in her a few weeks ago is a huge downpour, thus finding most of the leaks.
1/ Does anyone know the best way (Cheapest excluding gaffer) of restoring / reconditioning the side sliding windows? She is a Haylett Olympian
2/ There are a couple of holes in the pop top plastic window part, are there specialists that can fix these?
Thanks for continued support / supplying parts and helping resolve issues.
