Hi woolfy sorry about that - don't have any clue why the forum locked the topic down - I approved it and then I could reply! My theory is that "it" thinks that if we all meet up in real life then "it" won't be of use anymore :D

I think my van will unfortunately not make a journey so soon this year but doubtless I would come for a meet-up!

Well if any members are in Devon on 8th/9th September 2007 I am secretary of [email protected] which is being held in aid of Devon Air Ambulance just outside Exeter on B3193 I'd love to see you there,Bar,evening entertainment camping available £2 for the weekend.
Email for entry form.

Please put pen to paper (so to speak), as it would be great to have a get together. We could arrange somewhere fairly central to all those who reply, or alternativly arrange a gathering within another organised show.

Hello woolfy, we would love to meet up, be great to see a field full of commers. Our engine is going back into ours sometime next week (we had it rebuilt and converted to unleaded) but once it's in we'd be happy to have a commer get together.:)

Just a thought, but how about combining the meetup with another car club? For example, the Imp club? They do a national event every year that lasts 3 days and is held in a field with pleanty of camping. In the past a Dutch couple have come over with their commer camper.
I know there was some talk on the club site a while back of combining with another car group to increase attendance (somewhere around 150-200 Imps now).
Also has the advantage of reducing the work needed to arrange everything as they are already doing it.

And finally, made by the same company....

Just a though.

And, oh, yeah... did I mention I have an Imp or ten... :D

Hi poppi. I live down in Devon Kingsteignton near to Newton Abbot and would love to come. I wont enter, but if you could let me know time and place I will definatly turn up. I am entering some of my cars into Powderham classic car show, but not the commer, that will be on the campsite. This is one of the best shows that we have down here.
