the first pic shows where the inertia is mounted and the bolt you can see just below is where the strap is mounted..........
The 2nd pic shows the door pillar and where the pivot is mounted
My question is this....should the strap be mounted where it is?? I thought it should be mounted a couple of inches below the pivot on the door piller?? ...I can feel there are holes behind the red vinyl but I'm unsure if the holes are threaded to take the bolts??
the reason behind my concerns are that as they are, the seatbelts are not really long enough and if my theory is correct that they should be mounted below the pivot point, then that would free up about an extra 2ft of belt

There are three positions for the belt anchor in the door pillar in Harvey, with any luck yours will be in the top one - dropping it to the bottom one will give you another couple of inches extra belt lenth. Just make sure the belt fits over your shoulder OK if you move it. Oh and make sure the captive plate in the door pillar doesn't drop when you take the bolt out:I

Ahh, thanks John.....I will have to be nice to that Mark bloke, see if he can get me some more red vinyl if I'm going to make more holes in it lol
