I have just been looking at my school report from 1948, all right all right you can cut out the smart remarks !!!! part of the report said "Leslie is a good reader, he is backward at arithmetic" For the said arithmetic I got 25/30 which works out at about 83%. I wonder what grade I would have got in todays marking system.[:0]
and before anyone says anything the report was on paper and not parchment or stone tablet.
