S-reg 1977 camper with canvas roof on Ebay

Don't know if this has been mentioned on here yet. New interior, it seems, and in need of some TLC.

Cannot say that I recognise which conversion this is. Must be a converted panel van. Long side windows, but rear sides still steel. Roof similar to the Fiat Pandora/Amigo conversions made on Isle of Wight, oddly enough.

Interesting :)

This was sold in Perth a couple of weeks ago, for £770 [:0] Looks like another 'slap a bit of paint on and stick it back on ebay' [xx(]

cheeky sods - they had a good story too...

anyroad, i've bought it, for better or for worse. well, worse to start with as the aa man had to bind up two rotting radiator hoses on the way back home. as you can tell from the time of this post, i didn't get home early (liverpool). i'll see if speedy parts are as good as their name tomorrow.

i plan to keep the van for as long as poss, and plan to pester the forum with newbie questions for the next few weeks :)

fyi, my vw owning friend identified the roof as the same as his - a viking. though his can sleep 4 in the roof, this one will only take two. only had the van for 7 hours, so no more details yet ;)

Welcome to the forum!

From those pics, it looks to me like you've still got a bargain compared to some ropey stuff that's been selling on eBay for good money recently. Groovy dashboard by the way!

Hope to see further pictures on the forum when you get 5 minutes.

Hello and welcome Rat3brt, hope you have fun with the van, looks good to me:D

Moley and Brian the Snail :)
