Running temp

Hi,was wondering what is a good running temp? I have a pre '60,( no front grill) original temp gauge didn't work, aftermarket has high temp range,want to know what temp watch for.

I've got an electric fan that cuts in at 90degC and out again at 85 at idle. I used an infra red temp indicator to check and it's running around that temperature, seems to be fine

80-90 deg Celcius should be fine.
