I still can't believe this has happened. I was there on Saturday working and it has hit everyone on the Squadron hard.
Personally I first met Jon when we were teenagers and always got on well. To end up working with him again was a real pleasure.
The response has been absolutely overwhelming and it has been a real eye opener to us. It has certainly helped us as his colleagues and friends to see the massive public response to the tragic events. Jon was truely a character and one of the most pleasant people you could hope to meet. Always positive and always a hard working professional.
I hope the response gives some comfort to Emma and his family in the same way it has for the rest of us in this very, very sad time.

I presume you are in the R.A.F Graham? I never saw the Red Arrows properly until R.A.F Wittering Families Day a few weeks back with my son. I was truly amazed at how awesome they are. Here are a few pics that i took

Yep I'm RAF for my sins. On the Reds at the moment and usually jolly nice work too. I'm a photographer by trade. (Beats working for a living!)
Spent about 18 months at Wittering before moving up to Scampton. Enjoyed it but Harriers were still flying then! lol
Are you a blue suiter too?
In fact, come to think of it there was a Red & Cream Commer in the village when I first moved there in 2008. Is that you?
