Recommendations

I've had my commer for 3 and a half years but due to a lack of time it remains neglected at the back of my workshop. I now have to concede that I need some help. Basically it's in reasonable order, passed it's MOT 2 years ago without any problems, but needs a mechanical overall, some bodywork, a respray and a refurbishment of the interior. Any recommendations of who could undertake the project and without wanting to ask the length of a piece of string, any indication what it might cost?

Ok. my input would be that it will cost you in the region of 10K give or take a little and there's either Martin Maltas or Woolfy (although Woolfy has said he is not doing it anymore) I'm sure there are others but these would be your best bet...I 'think' you can send money on a monthly basis but then again, thats not my place to say, so don't rely on that info.........hope that is at least of some small help:)

In that case (gulp) an alternative could be to sell yours as is and consider buying Steve's Supervista, for example

Yes, I'd be reluctant to part with mine but when you look at the economics it has to be a serious consideration. I don't think any of us bought Commers as an profitable investment but when you look at cost alone it seems better to buy a completed project.

Does it run ? Could you not just get welding done?
A bit off attention should get you an mot
we dont mind if it hasnt got a posh coat
any pics? If it had an mot that recently should be up & running in no time
