Rear Wheel Cylinders Leaking - Failed MOT

Hi All,

My Commer Autohome has just failed the MOT because the one of the rear wheel cylinders is leaking fluid.

Speedy spares only seem to sell a repair kit. Does anyone know if this is any good or does anyone know where I can actually get some new cylinders for the back. (I replaced the front cylinders and shoes last year so may aswell get the whole lot new!).

Thanks

Dave

I have done the rear seal kit.... works ok, but must be done carefully. I had one of the seals the wrong way round first of all!?

Hi Martin,

How much would postage be to send two of them to South Wales?

Also, do you do the shoes aswell or would I need to get them from Speedy's?

Do you take cards/paypal etc etc?

Cheers

OK so I will be ordering my new parts from you Martin BUT my first problem is that I can't get the bloody drums off. I took out the screw and whacked the hell out of the drums but no joy. Any tips?

Cheers

Dave

Have you backed off the adjusters.

That usually works, as there is normally a build up of rust around the edge, stopping the drum coming off ;)
