Not sure where to post this. Just been chatting to the chap who makes them in Australia. Martin sells them. He won’t be making any more and is melting moulds. So this is a heads up for anybody who may need them. Don’t know how many Martin has left. Chap has about 30 left. Admin may want to put this in a better post?
 
I may be missing something obvious here, but why would the person who makes these wish to destroy the moulds? I can understand he may not wish to manufacture anymore, but could he not sell the moulds to someone who could?
 
I agree. Doesn’t make a lot of sense. He had sold about 30 in 18 months so..... will be a pity for anybody who needs one in a few years time.
 
When he told me this I couldn’t understand it either, his reason was lack of space? Such a large proportion of the manufacturing cost goes into tooling.
 
I have taken the last of the manufacturers stock of 1/4 light seals, I have 8 sets for sale. They are not making any more, when they are gone they are gone.

I'm in Australia and have just bought a 1968 2500 van.
When you say '1/4 light', is that what we call the 'quarter window' over here?
If so, I am interested in a set...if you can confirm it will fit the attached model...
