Plasma cutters-help!

have you tried using smith and arrow cutting discs they do ridiculously thin grinding discs and even these last a long time on comparison to anything else ive tried. there a tad more expensive but are readily available on ebay. certainly be cheaper than a plasma if your not gona use it alot.

Not really a fan of cheap tools but i noticed that in aldi today (i live right next to one at uni) and it seemed a reasonable machine for so little money...has anybody had any luck with these?

Just went and got one, looks alright, find out in 2 weeks time if it performs! Need to find some decent quality blades once i wear out the ones that came with it, any suggestions?

Aldi do a pack of four differnt blades - three of each in a pack for a fiver, I know I just bought two packs to go with the saw

ive had a few good tools from aldi and i bought a nibbler from there also a da orbital sander air tool, plus a few other bits and bobs. they are still going strong 6 months later.what more do you want for £20.00. oh i also bought a soldering iron from there the other week £8.00. go on get in there.

The 3 year warranty on aldi tools is covered by an external company you have to send the tool off in the post and if it is repairable they will repair it and send it you back.

Its worth a shot, as long as it does at least 20 cutting discs work! i bought that pack of blades from aldi, but i am doubting thier quality! soon find out! Got a multitude of jobs on the barns for this little beasty

Might end up buying a makita lxt reciprocating body if i find this one useful enough and use the batteries off my lxt drill, nice and portable then
