1982, must be one of the last ones and from what we can see still quite tidy. It's a testament to the original design that our vans had a production run of almost a quarter of a century (I know they were struggling to keep up at the end), not bad for a two ton bun-loaf [^]

Hiya I think it is pretty sound all round. Slight rusting on the bottom of the doors which i am going to get sorted but apart from that it is in good nick all round. I am going to fit some new carpet, curtains and covers on the seats, apart from that I think I got a pretty good deal.

Hoping to get some pics on later if I can, good luck with the textiles - that is one of the topics I am planning to start about what would be authentic style material for re-covering my bed/seat cushions - first commer had very 70s' plain gold velour of which I have 2 covers left, not the most fashionable fabric to trace now - quite glad 70's coming back into fashion.
Are you going to match up what is there or go pimp my ride with red velvet & diamond studs? (or somewhere sensible in between)

I am going to make mine quite neutral, a cream colour I think with elasticated edges so they can slip off for washing and when I sleep in her. Your van looks very similar.
I am also taking her to soverign coachworks in hastings who have said they will do the doors once i get the skins off Woolfy.

sounds tasteful, don't recommend cream for the carpet though if that had been considered - not ideal for muddy campsites!
looks like you got a good'un there - interesting to see different variations of layouts inside - should come up lovely. Hadn't seen that roof before - has an air of canal boat about it.
I can see that your air intake nose cone is greatly advanced to mine - looks to less of a water trap than the older ones, so hopefully easier to keep rain out of heater
