PB stainless steel exhuast

Does anyone have/make/know of a stainless steel exhaust system for the PB? Bessie is a little windy and the MOT is looming:(

hi studio, is it the whole thing or just the silencer you need [?]

Was hoping to invest in whole thing as is a short system, but if beyond budget then will replace pipework. Silencer ok at the mo but pipes getting slightly teabagged in places.[B)]

Hi studio, you could phone around some of the adds in classic car weekly, there are people who specialize in stainless & mild steel exhausts for classic's,I bought one for the riley (before I got the rc40 bug from Tim)! mind you was around 160 quid! did you see my post about fitting rc40?? to Ran ??

Thanks Chris, good to get an idea of cost [:0]
I did see rans new bean tin, that's what reminded me to ask about my exhuast - looks like Ran had been suffering from a bit of congestion until surgery.[xx(] have you had a chance to notice difference yet?

Ran is like a run-away train [:0]but I think my throttle is sticking at times ? will know when tank is empty how many mpg few miles to go yet! don't need to go down the gears as much so should be getting more mpg.....sounds different, more throaty [^]

i could probably make you a stainless one:D, but it would cost about 150.:(,and i dont think the postie would get it through your letterbox[:0]

Thanks Tim, that is really helpful to know - gives me a good idea of what to expect - cos I know yours will be a fair price. May not be putting the postie in that awkward position just yet but know where to come when funds allow.;)

Glad rc40 is doing the trick Chris, closest Bessie has seen to that is WD40:I

it is a mini thing panky, but its also a very well designed silencer too good to pass by for other uses:D[8D]
