Opening the roof

I have now cut the front off the roof so I can get at rusty bits and making the new sections my self and hopping it all turns out ok.

It'll be fine

I did the same repair years ago before Martin Matlas mage the panels for the job. Fiddly and awkward to do but the repair I did is still hanging on.

That looks like an extra long engine cover, is there a straight six lurking within.

No just the standard Rootes engine.

My bad, It's the engine lid sitting on top of the front panel that looked (to me) like it was longer than normal. Should have gone to Specsavers
