once a commer man

John, Panky has said in another topic "once a commer man, always a commer man" and it got me thinking, I had a commer/dodge in the 1980's and I went all over camping in her, but I had to let her go as I got transferred from one fire station to another and I was always late in the commer so I got myself a car so that I could overtake wagons and buses on the long haul hill to the second station. When I retired I got a Toyota Devon camper, fantastic engine but there was just something missing and in the 7 years that I had it I never used it for camping. I then got myself a VW, with only a few miles on it and just over a year old. After it had done just over 9000 miles and just over 3 years old the turbo blew, costing a small fortune to have it repaired and that's when I decided to go back to something reliable [?][?] and bought Lulu, Here endeth the first lesson about my full history of camper vans.[8D]
