True, can't grumble at the price he paid. The only thing that I have mentioned about the value of this van was that the previous owner (The seller) thought it was worth a lot more than it is and I personally think he was after a lot more than Eclipse77 (Scott) ending up paying for it.
I think he had been looking at VW prices where a scrapper is over £1000 [)]
The roof on this van is in a good condition and the gutters are very good and straight. The peak has its rot but what van hasn't?
The rest of the problem areas are panels that Woolfy supplys so you have nothing out of the ordinary to tackle and everything you have to do is covered in good detail in other peoples readers rides threads.

Cheers all, good to hear words of encouragement! I need to start looking at her in small bites and not 1 big rusty job and things will pan out well i hope. She'll never be concourse but reliable and dry is a good target i think. Been on the road today and saw heaps of VW's and no commers, so i'm glad to have her even in this condition! it's good to be different and shes a looker ;0)(god i'm easily pleased). I'll get pics up asap.
