old member - new username

Hi I was on here some months back couldn't remember the username or password properly so have re registered.
To recap we have a 1974 Autosleeper in yellow and white called Buttercup (hence the userid) that has been in the family for 33 years and im my care for the last 21 of that, it had sat unused for about 3 or 4 years due to family circumstances so we had a decision to make. scrap it / bodge it / or fix it.
We decided to fix it, I am no use at all with a welder or whatever so we had to find somewhere to do it. The upshot is a nice man with a transporter came and collected it and took it to Jules at Ratsport so by the summer our tatty much loved assortment of good bits and rust will be turned in to a much loved assortment of old metal and new metal ready for the next 20 years.
When she's done I will post pictures (before during and after) and we will have a vehicle fit for meeting up with all the immaculate examples (and others) on this site
Sorry for the length of the first post, look forward to taking a more active part in the forum from now on
cheers
