Congratulations on winning - certainly looks like a good one. Autosleeper may not be the rarest of Commers, but that is for good reason. It's probably the best conversion, although I rather like the the Wanderer.

Hi,Welcome to the world of Commer ownership. I've only managed to get away a couple of times in mine since i've had it but it's a really great motor and does almost everything that i would want from a camper
at a very reasonable price.
I hope you manage to get out in yours before winter,don't forget the meet at the New Forest if you can manage it.

Thinks .......Now if you can have a Commer and an old Renault, perhaps I can persuade my wife that I should have a Commer and two old Renaults! [}]
]If there are places at the New Forest I will try to bring the family along.
I have the half term week off and I'm planning to climb a mountain somewhere so will be shaking down the Camper in Wales or Lake District.
It will be good to get back to classic motoring. We have had everything from a Zatava 750 to Volvo Amazons in the past but got lured into a false sense of comfort with the volvo 240. Plus all that central locking, electric windows and quick engine was making the children lazy.
Where's the fun in ending up where you're intending anyway.
