My cheap weekend away

not sure if this is interesting for anyone - Went away this weekend, went to Ely found a spot to sleep overnight in a factory car park, woke up to find owner of factory wanting to have a chat, i thought it was to ask me to move on(not that that has ever happened), but no he is just joined the dark side and wanted to talk about campers. then travelled to a village called prickwillow to the Fen Museum, which was not open to the public but they were working there and let us have a good look round (Free). then we travelled to the seaside, found a parking spot in a village called Weybourne which is just north of Cromer, parked next to the sea which was scary as the sea looked like it was really angry. but v level car park and apart from some late night fishermen were the only ones there. (free). Beware there is no fuel stations anywhere near so had to travel to Burnham Market to find fuel, sweating a little trying to remember which road we were on in case we need to let the AA know ( you know how it is). it was really cold and extremely windy so kept in the camper most of the time, drove to brancaster harbour which was great really near the sea and all the fishing boats, picked up some fresh mussels £3.50(free parking) next went to Blakeney Quay, really cute. then to hunstanton for bread and wine. Went inland to sandringham, found a remote spot in the forest and the temp guage went above 100. paniked then found a leak on the petrol water heater i fitted last weak, got wet fixing it, but fixed it anyway used volvic rainwater to refill. Sandringham car park for mussels in white wine and garlic with crusty bread. then went to find the cute bit of Kings lynn. it was really difficult but we did in the end its called the south quay. called into wisbech to see my nans house and then home. Long weekend but loved every second only cost me £65 in fuel and no parking or camping fee's:D
