Ha ha! I did that actually!

and the results are in...

however it was what I like to call a "Classic Pass" i.e. only some minor points.

Basically just the handbrake and wiper blades.

I took a look at the handbrake this afternoon and adjusted up the front shoes and took a little slack out of the primary cable and it seems alot better - I managed to stall her when I put the hand brake on in first. (which I couldn't do before)

The wiper was a weird one. The brand new blades from speedys were not putting enough pressure on the middle of the screen. I've bent them a little but they're not perfect. Anyone seen this before?

you should be used to that owning a morris! we found that, and kept the original arms and just used a reasonable quality refill rubber and this works a treat. failing that just bend the arms or try shortening the springs.:)
 
mine don't flex enough and struggle to reach in middle of blades especially when the windscreen bends round at ends - but the design feature I love most about Commer wipers is the wonderful way that when you switch them off the passenger wiper drains its' contents off the end straight across the drivers' side line of sight - genius:D


Congratulations on your fail - sounds a bit mean but it's great that it passed on everything scary - and should be back on the road very soon- well done;)

passed today! easy peasy, the MOT chap was really nice and we had a chat about the work I had done on her and how old she is etc. I really like it when garages are sympathetic to old cars - it was out local Farmer Autocare place. Definitely recommended.

To celebrate I took the kids up to Linlithgow to feed the ducks in Jessica and stopped off for a bag of sweets on the way back :)

Could the wiper prob be the springs in the arms not exertng enough tension.

we tried to feed the ducks, but the swans ate the bread instead!

Jules, I'm not sure what is up with the wiper blades, they were "missing" the screen in the middle of the sweep, but the edges were fine.

weird...
