Hi Mark,

That bus is absolutely beautiful!! Whereabouts are you in Australia? I would like to see it one day, I am in Melbourne if you are anywhere near??

I hate to come across as one of those preachy forum members that tries to tell a person what to do with their vehicle, but.... You gotta keep that thing as it is! Please tell me you won't restore it!! The weather-beaten paint looks magic.

Out of curiosity, what is the story behind it, and can you tell us what you paid or is it such a measly sum that we will all hate you forever?

If you need any bits (not window rubbers unfortunately) I may be able to help, you can send me a private message (pm) with the 2nd little button just above this message.

Mike

Hi guys,
Thanks for your comments.
Just read your message Mike.Im in Margaret River WA. I bought the van from a guy in Perth and he bought it from someone about two years ago. It's last rego was ten years ago. Paid $1800.00 for it.[have been looking for about a year so didn't haggle much] when i restore it I'll keep it the same, but i'd like to lower it and fit fatter tyres, but need rego first.I've found this forum really helpful and its good to read other van stories.
Would you know how many members in oz(any in wa)
