Looking for my marbles

You can ask DVLA to forward a letter to the current owner but they make a charge for doing so and it is at there discretion so there is no guarantee they will do it, it used to cost £5.00 but has probably gone up. If you want to research the history of a vehicle then you do have to be the current registered keeper and again there is a charge for the service. You need to address any letters to Customer Service Department.
Good luck.

By the way dont give up on it, it took me 12 years to get my Bedford CA back.....and I knew who owned it and where it was! And never trust anyone who tells you you can have first refusal on a vehicle you have sold them!

Cheers Alan
I won't stop yea have found dvla v888 form which I think is worth a try worst they can say is no ;-(
I just don't know what to say on the form that won't make me seem like a bit of a nut and over obsessed.
I fill like I'm getting some where and help from you all has been great. :)

Maybe tell the DVLA you still have some 'history' for the vehicle and would like to forward it on to the current owner?
