Looking for a Cortina

Hi all

My Brother has been looking for a mk2 Cortina for a while now, He is in the Met police armed responce unit and works silly hours so keeps missing out on stuff on the tinternet.
I said i would ask on here as you never know who knows who and i will have a look for him.
Has to be mk2 either 1300 or 1600, does not want a resto project as i said cos he works silly hours and won't have the time to do work.
So if anyone knows someone let me know peeps, cheers. :)
 
If he,s armed response unit, he needs a 1600E :D

Lol, told him to sod the Cortina and get a Commer, he could do Gene Hunt stake outs in it, but oh nooooo he has his heart set on a Cortina [V]
 
Trouble is a Commer would be a lousy stake out van - it would have a crowd around in five minutes:I

One of my brother's restored a 1600E in my Dad's drive in the late 70s/early 80's while smoking around in an Imp. The E was a lovely car. Similar looks but better quality and rarer are the Rootes Arrows cars (Hillman Hunter shape like my Madge). They usually cost less too.
