I stopped off to see a mate to fit a set of tyres to my landy & look what I found sat In the yard....
It went in for repairs as it was running only on 2 cylinders...the problem is fixed but now has more issues apparently.... what I can gather the customer lives in it down in the new forest area, its reasonably tidy... cab interior needs work but the rear is well retro 70's & up together.
& you gotta check out the number plate!

Despite both being a CI Autohome with almost identical paint schemes and that chrome upper strip, these are actually different vans

Yes definitely different....his cab interior is non existant & the handbrake assembly is in the foot well..lol

How are you getting on with it?
I’m doing well. I’ve done a lot in the 7 or so weeks I’ve had it. I’ll upload a few pictures here but I’ve taken the full rear box timber work off, the thin ally sheeting if off, I’ve then reframed with fresh new wood. Fitted the hatch. Fitted a new roof vent, fixed all the leaks in the roof, was 9 of them. Also done ply work inside and hygiene cladded it. I’ve pulled all the wires out of the front, started the rewire. Took both doors down to bare metal to assess how shot they are then I’ve just primer over them for now. Also sourced a front end original rootes stock one, step sills will be next then debating door skins atm.

Engine wise, I’ve got an SU44 carb, so I learnt a lot about those from AC Dodds YouTube channel and I’ve cleaned it all out, flushed the system (ALOT) was just rusty water for a.long time, got all the crud out the engine block, tore the heater matrix out then made a small loop of the hoses in the engine bay as I’ll be getting an electric demister heater thing. I’m waffling now but yeah I’ll create a separate thread for it and then upload some of the progress I’ve made
