I need help please, I bought a leisure battery relay from a caravan shop, fitted the leisure battery and connected the fridge to the system. All was working fine, the battery was charging and the fridge was getting cold during my journey. I then connected a battery gauge on the dash to show the leisure battery level, this was working fine. The battery then completely lost it's charge over some time, when I tried it again on a journey the in line fuse had blown. I replaced it with a slightly larger one and there was a smell of burning cable. I quickly disconnected everything as it seemed because the battery was flat it was needing more power to charge it? I don't know the reason for the battery going flat so quickly, as nothing was left turned on, and I have no idea as to the reason for the cables getting hot and blowing the fuses. I'm not too good with vehicle electrics and would appreciate some help before my van goes up in flames:I Regards Colin
