This is well worth reading, even though it,s quite long. In brief it,s about how lead in petrol was all done for corperate profit whilst covering up the risks, and all the backhanded deals, misinformation and threats that went with it.

If they had gone with ethanol in the first place we wouldn't be facing the issues that are being generated by it's increased use in petrol now, as well as not poisoning just about everyone on the planet[V]
