just need sum info again? lol

on the back doors the bit of cureved metal that you put the lock on to hold the doors open well i had the doors open with the catch down and me granny tried to shut doors and she bent the curved metal does any1 know were to get them from? or do you have to make them yourself? thanks craig

common problem craig :Ii thought about hanging a sign up"do not try to shut doors without moving catches" my kids have worked out how they work, but they are use to old cars.should be able to make something quite easily,i don't know if you can buy them, maybe the others will know, good luck, what van have you got?

Jeeez don't mess with your gran!

I have some bent ones on my van too and haven't found replacements as yet - the worse thing when they aren't on at all is that the doors can make a nasty line on the bodywork from opening too far!

I also have a van with a nasty line on the body work exactly from opening too far [V]I would say definately get it fixed asap [^]

Yup,have 1 nasty line and 1 missing catch:I could it be a project for the wonderful woolfy or the talented tim[?] seems to be a demand forming.

do the blue peter thing with some washing up bottles, loo roll middles and some stick back plastic !

Think you're right - pretty basic shape, just needs more flowers on it:D![:X]

lol! while I was out in "Ran" yesterday was flashed at least three times,my Dad said "police ahead slow down" again lol! "dad it's a commer I don't need to slow down!"it's not the police it's the flowers" "oh it's the flowers is it?" lol Dad enjoyed his drive, but unfortunately I had to brake hard at a roundabout,I started to pull out, the boy racer I thought was turning left shot out into my path, when we arrived I noticed the roof didn't look level, the catch had come undone inside the van!does this happen to any one else's roof?

That happened on my van when driving it home from Plymouth, that and the doors flying open on roundabouts :)

Have had some door bursting action in both of my commers, keeps the passengers on their toes[}:)] bessies' roof pretty good but marthas' was very flappy, had a big piece of rope to wegde into gap between roof and bodywork at the front to hold it solid in high winds when camping[:0]

drivers door !yep twice now my fault had not shut it !1st time was on a funny bend down the road from me,the 2nd time leaving Tim's on a tight bend, really lucky nothing was closer, good to know my reactions still work though!rear doors flew open & shut didn't know what the banging was, took a few minuites to work out, noticed it slam shut & quickly pulled over [:0]fuel cap! one of these day's I will loose it [:0]quirky commer things, they work fine if you do them up & lock them properly [^]

They are very lovely curvy bits[:X], would love a passenger side one if one available - but I didn't think of asking first so will be fair and won't jump in before Craig has look.[8D]
