Joint sealant?

I've noticed the Highwayman has developed a slight leak inside the "toilet wardrobe" at roof level, closer inspection reveals the external roof joint has lost its sealing compound, in the past I've used polyurethane sealant it works well but seems to crack or split over time if spread too thinly, the original (non setting?) stuff used seems to work a treat on most of the van, does anyone know is there a modern equivalent?

The sealents I used on my van were 'Seamseal cv' which is non hardening to put the windows back and 'Sikaflex' which is a bit pricey but brilliant at sealing anything and good for tidying rubbers up ;)

We at Marquis Motorhomes use a product made by WURTH called "bond and seal" it stays flexible, sticks like **it to a blanket, and is great as a sealant and also doesnt mould. Hope that helps.

I have a Highwayman which leaked badly, used Sikaflex on all the joints over a year ago and despite living outside all year in the wet West coast of Scotland is is still watertight. I bought a tube on E-bay for about £6. Can fully reccomend it.

Good luck
