Japan

Just sitting here glued to BBC world news watching as the terrible events unfold in Japan. It seems as though the Pacific is full of disasters at the moment. Cant imagine what it must be like there...

Now with a bundle of joy - and a commer!

A disaster of biblical proportions, as awful as the Chrischurch quake was this is in a different league and shows what havoc mother nature can wreak on earths puny population. We moan and whinge about the weather here but I wouldn't change it for anything. Lets hope this is the last we see of the restless earth for a while.

Summer's Coming.....
Trust me

Well said panky;-) mother nature is an aggravated bitch at times, god bless all caught up in this. Armageddon feels like its knocking on our doors these last couple of years, I'm grateful to live with our sometimes unpredictable seasons!

I think man (read as man and woman) has over populated and messed with this planet too badly and for too long, at best these disasters should be a warning to us and at worst its natures way of keeping numbers down, ive also just seen a report of where the worlds nuclear power plants are sited and most are knocking at earthquake door! its a case of "when" not "if" as quoted by the news reader. why are people still objecting to wind farms? these are just my thoughts.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labottomy!

Ha didnt you know "nuclear power is safe"????? I cant beleive they still muck around with it,people aparantly dont like the eyesore and noise involved in a windfarm but id rather look at some windmills rather than a 6 legged dog!!!! or kid!! Your weather is much more predictable over there than in NZ's "4 seasons in one day"!

Not amongst the headlines: "building regulations save hundreds of thousands of lives in Japan"
