hi guys just thought id fill you all in on this event. unforunatly last year was apparently the last one and it wont be held here anymore.(bummer)or what. but i was talking to my friend about it and he recons that there is another event on every year which we might all be interested in going too, and its called the twinwood festival. there will be lots of excellent rock and roll music on, also jive music from the glen miller era etc. there is a big camp site for us to park up in, and it sounds really cool. i still have to find out the prices yet but will let you know this week for sure.:(;):p

To be honest - this looks fab! I would love to go. But I have been organising something for the same weekend which I was going to open up to the Commer Folks...but it is still in development!

I think I will be going to this next year though [:eek:)]

Is this in place of the Isle of Wight suggestion or in place of your yearly gathering?

[:0] Well, we and a couple in the village have decided to have a very basic 'local' festival. Basically we have booked a scout camp/field for the Aug bank holiday 27th. It is a super modern field - a couple of toilets/showers/kitchen and grass :)

More details next week, but we thought it would be nice to invite the commer community along! It's going to be a private affair - friends and friends of friends etc!
